Day Wise Itinerary
Airport – Pinnawela – Kandy
Arrive by () at (). After immigration & visa formalities, collect your baggage and proceed to the arrival lounge. The Green Holiday Centre Representative will greet you and assist you to the Car/Coach Park to begin your journey.
Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage: Established in 1975 to house abandoned and wounded elephants, it is now home to more than 65 elephants. Best time to visit is during feeding (0930–1000 hrs & 1330–1400 hrs) and bathing (1000–1030 hrs & 1400–1430 hrs).
Arrive in Kandy and enjoy a city tour:
- Royal Botanical Gardens: 147 acres, home to 5000+ species including orchids and spices.
- Kandy: The last stronghold of Sinhala Kings, rich in Buddhist traditions.
- Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic: Sri Lanka’s most prized possession since 4th Century A.D.
Evening witness the Kandy Cultural Dance Performance.
Kandy – Colombo
After breakfast, proceed to Colombo. Spend the day at leisure and explore the city as per choice.
Colombo City Tour + Shopping
After breakfast, proceed for a city tour of Colombo:
- Drive through commercial areas and Cinnamon Gardens.
- Visit Fort, Sea Street (Goldsmith’s quarters), Pettah Bazaar, Hindu Temple with carvings, and Dutch Church of Wolfendhal (1749).
- Visit BMICH, Avukana Buddha replica, and Independence Square.
Later enjoy shopping in Colombo. Overnight stay at hotel in Colombo.
Colombo – Airport
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to airport for your scheduled flight with memories to cherish forever.
